About Jo Howard


For the whole of my career I've been interested in how people learn, particularly in how they learn to do their work. I have worked in management development and coaching for more than fifteen years and have seen shifts in the story of what makes a manager and how organisations function. Focussing on the people involved and the outcomes looked for seems to give us a basic approach that works, free of gimmicks.

 

Much of what I do is about helping people to manage their own development, to widen their view of the possibiities open to them and at the same time to be specific about their current work and how to do it better.

 

I live in West Sussex UK, and as well as working with people in development I love gardening and designing online materials.
